The strange thing also is it did not feel like trial…and the judge was a retired judge..

(King County Regional Justice Center, Juror Pre-Trial Selection, April 2013)
An unprecedented pool of 300 potential jurors in the thinly veiled case of Wa. State vs Sound Doctrine Church brought to surface an odd piece of advice for the traveling motorist. As King County Courts were busy interviewing 300 potential jurors with questions such as, “Have you had any negative interaction with the police?” the seat belt entrapment scam presented itself.
Individuals began to relate the story of being pulled over for a traffic violation. As the officer approached the auto, in a spirit of co-operation, the motorist unbuckled their seat belt to retrieve their wallet with driver license.
Naturally when the officer arrived at the car they were then summarily ticketed for not wearing their seat belt.
The truth of the situation concerning the seat belt was rejected by the courts with one officer just smiling at everyone as the judge ordered the fine to be paid. The policeman remained silent on the witness stand when shown his video tape. The judge ruled since the video was “grainy” the ticket must be paid. So much for the burden of proof being on the State.
It is these small injustices that are building a wall of resentment towards police and prosecutors around the country. After all, Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. (Luke 16:10)
Next thing you know police will demand to know “where your church is located?” then, if they don’t like your church stand by as $20,000 worth of goods are stolen.
We put together a short video clip to illustrate the injustice of a police force that is making itself enemies toward society because they have aligned themselves with the Prosecutor’s Office rather than protecting everyone’s safety.
